![]() so to avoid things from breaking, from protecting yourself from malware, uh, work with a developer who knows what to update and why to update it. now, to keep it up to date, you want to work with a developer, because if you just update things randomly, it could not be compatible, sometimes, with the latest versions of wordpress or so on, so things can break. so if you're running software like wordpress plugins, software on wordpress updates, you want to keep that up to date. um, another way to prevent it is to keep your software, your website, up to date. so preventing it, would? you know your ads won't go down because your website won't get infected with malware. uh, that blocks malicious content from coming to your website in the first place. a firewall is a third-party like security, where it attaches to your dns. so to prevent malware, you should have a firewall set up. um, i guess the one of the ultimate questions is: how do you remove the malware? so malware, let's tok about preventing malware and then i'll get into the removal. okay, well, that kind of takes care of my second question. disapproval is usually the subject line of that email. that's the keyword on google, malicious software and google ads. yeah, so the exact wording is going to be malicious software. it says malware is the reason why your ad is taken down. they get disapproved and now they're in the email. they get notified from google ads that they do have malware. so a lot and but a lot of clients don't have that. so unfortunately, you won't know you have malware until it's too late, unless you're paying a third-party tool like a firewall service that notifies you if you have malware and it cleans it up for you automatikally or blocks it from happening. they're gonna get an email for each of those ads once it goes down. so if you have a hundred um ads on google- which is, you know, normal for some people that some people have multiple ads for in one ad group. each ad that you have on google ads is is really going to get a email. we currently have a post on our website that shows you an exact screenshot of what it looks like, so it's going to be an email. it's also going to be on the 405 ads website where you can actually see what it looks like. and what do those? sorry, i'm just going to cut right in- what? what are those notifications usually look like? they're an email from google and i can provide you a snapshot. so that means google's already notified them, stating that their website is no longer illegible to be on google ads, and they'll usually get. ![]() so customers that uh approach us um find out that they have malware until it's too late. so, to get started, how do you find out that your site has malware? it's the initial question. so i'm merely going to be posing questions and they will be answering them. we both work for 405 ads and today we're going to tok about malware removal and what it does to google ads accounts if you don't have it removed. That Virus-Bulletin (Which I have always considered a trustworthy source) choose to endorse them that way (despite knowing their shady business model and malware software) is just sad and Virus-Bulletin have lost their credibility in my book. Lately they have become a PARTNER of Virus-Bulletin, in the annual Virus Bulletin International Conference (VB2019) Try looking at some of the negative reviews (the only real ones) on Trustpilot and Google.Īnd they seem to be very good at "infiltrating" (buying their way into) the legit virus scanner scene. ![]() They also sell 3 identical VPN clients (again using different brands/company names)Ĭompany also has a long history of withdrawing money from peoples accounts AFTER they cancel subscriptions. Here's an post that shows screenshot of all 3 programs. The company sells 3 identical virus scanners (using different brands/company names) "In order to promote any of Protected Groups brands affiliates must NEGATIVE match the following if promoting via Google or Bing." ![]() Same goes for their affiliate program, where you only get money if you block out NEGATIVE searches on Google and Bing. They also lack any form of community/forum like other virus scanner vendors, as they know they will be flooded with negative comments. Marketing their products using false advertising, fake reviews, fake comparison tests and other shady methods. "TotalAV" is a front for Group Ldt., one of biggest scammer companies in the cyber-security industry and a well known producer of malware. Avoid totalav, its a scam, stick to windows defender, its good enough these days.
